You can choose to automatically lock or unlock your timesheets in Monograph at any time.

Locking a timesheet will prevent team members from making changes to the weekly time entries in the timesheet after a defined time/period. Unlocking a timesheet will not pose any restrictions in the timesheet entry.

💡 Monograph automatically aligns the timesheet lock to your team members' timezone.

For example: Say you have enabled timesheet lockdown. You have also defined the lockdown period to begin after 2 days at 3 AM from the end of the week. This means for a week that starts from the 1st of January, timesheet edits will not be allowed from 3 AM on the 9th of January.

To define a timesheet lock, follow the steps below:

  1. Click on Settings on the main menu

  2. Open Timesheets tab

  3. In the Lock time section, click on the Lock time toggle button. When enabled the toggle button will glow and hidden controls will appear.

4. Enter the number of days after which the timesheet will be locked. By default, this value is set to 1 day.

Step 5: From the time drop down, choose the time from when the timesheet lock should be in effect. The time is set to 12 AM by default.
